Brett is a physician and technologist focused on population health. He has with more than twenty years of experience transforming healthcare and healthcare organizations with innovative technology-enabled solutions. He has designed, developed and managed many clinical systems including one of the firsts e-prescribing solutions (eRX), a complete electronic health record (EHR), a clinical decision support system (CDS) to help clinicians choose the most appropriate imaging exam given a clinical scenario, as well as, full web portals for patients and providers.
In addition to a long history of driving clinical improvements with technology, Brett has also been focused on using the data produced by these new systems to create powerful tools for population health. This includes risk adjustment (RA) and stratification of patients to create opportunities for early clinical interventions, as well as the matching of patients to the needed wellness and care programs.
As a proven healthcare executive, Brett has served in many clinical and technical leadership roles including CMO, CMIO and Medical Director for 'Population Health Management' at a large national managed care organization (MCO).
